Given the cost of the stand, these are relatively inexpensive (about $ 15 each). I use them in my living room (tiles), so have no problems standing in the back and has a nice weight to them to make them more stable. It is simply the base is to suspend the loudspeakers. I love them. I also like the fact that they are very subtle. 12 of 14 people found this review helpful. Poor quality speakers with speaker stands Jaron These seemed like a good idea, and it looked good in the picture. But they are not well constructed. The stands have a heavy plate secured to the base, but unfortunately it seems that the stand is not wide enough. My speakers can topple with the slightest nudge. The speakers were mounted on them Onkyo SKB-540, I mounted the back four speakers (left, right and center channel are all resting on the furniture) The stands are not high enough to raise the speakers above the back of my bank ( it's not a high-backed sofa, or something larger than the waist). The speaker itself rests on a single nail is connected to the mounting bracket to the speaker and the speaker is not muted or supported fixed or put another way. It's just kind of hanging there, and it's all shaky. The curve of the bar is too high to accommodate the speaker, so they're all a bit backwards, with the bottom of the speaker being pushed by the curve. This makes them very unstable. You are required to confirm the pole for the assembly of plastic that hang the speakers, and if you spoil them, actually one of the screws broke. It was very frustrating, and forced me to cut the plastic with a saw, and remove the broken screw with pliers, a convenient feature that allows you to feed the cable through the mast is based on the speaker. They are also adjustable, so I guess that is another plus. But such aid is only worth considering if you have very small speakers of light, and hardwood floors (which can not possibly be on the mat). If you have a powerful sound system and speakers that are larger than about 4 inches tall, I would not recommend unless they think you're looking for something cheap dirt. He gave them two stars instead of one because, when all is said and done, technically still keep my speakers, and was cheap. But if you can spend more on speaker stands, I would. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. All I had to ... Kinshasa, not the price I love and love the height. It is not good with Polk Audio speakers, if you're willing to have the momentum of the speaker to suffer for your system, it's all good. For me no problem, but if you're an audiophile and own Polk speakers, these will not work for you. This is why I rated them a 4, good for me, maybe not good for the other. They are certainly well-weighted and well designed. The guide may seem a little confusing, but after setting up the first level, they are really easy. All 31 customer reviews ....
