Kelly Now, I will start off saying if you want a high intense bass amp then spend 1k for an amp. for the money this amp rocks! I have it hooked up to 2 10" Polk Audio Momo subs and it sounds great. I have heard some people same that cheaper sub amps go into protect mode often. This amp has never cut off. I ran this all of this summer in a truck with no A/C in the south every day and cannot believe how cool it is to the touch! I have set the main level knob on the amp at around 11 o'clock and it does quite well. One of my workmates (a car audio freak) has listened to my setup and said I should enter it into a contest. I'm a litte too old for this (grin-grin). One last thing, spend most of you $$$ on good speakers and less on the amp.
