I used the stock speaker was for a while, but when I heard it first hand amplifier connected to a 4-channel 400 watts, I was amazed at the clarity, volume, and the warm, bright tone. I can not wait to get this mid / heights around 12 "Type-R corresponds to the sub (s). They are definitely lack bass after listening to this without a sub / amp combo, since the transitions take the low tones although there are "punchy mid-bass.
