The Kappa 60.9cs component speaker system features 6-1/2"" woofers with responsive woven glass-fiber cones that won't flex during a hard workout. The Plus One design offers a larger surface area for improved low-frequency output and efficiency, while longer voice coils add a little more punch to the bass. Large magnets keep the woofers running cooler by placing more steel close to the voice coils to act as a heat sink. Infinity uses the same textile dome tweeters found in many of their popular home speakers with this Kappa system, so you'll hear the music the way it was recorded with minimal coloration or distortion. The tweeters handle down to 2,500 Hz, almost an octave below the tweeters in many systems, so you'll hear more definition and detail, no matter where you sit. Infinity includes mounting hardware to install the tweeters in custom or factory openings.The computer-optimized outboard crossover networks employ audiophile-grade components to separate highs and lows, so that the woofer and tweeter work together perfectly. You can attenuate tweeter response by 6 dB to get the perfect sonic balance if you've mounted the tweeters in a less-than-ideal factory location. Pre-wired crossovers eliminate a time-consuming step in your installation, and terminals at the end of the crossover wires screw directly to the Kappa woofers and tweeters, leaving no chance for incorrect wiring.

E & B is not an authorized dealer of Infinity, Mfgr. warranty is void for TonyNY This product had a tweeter stopped working for me a short time during the warranty period. I called corp infinity. and declared that he had to make a complaint by the person who sold you the system, in this case it was E & B Electronics. As ridiculous as it sounds I tried. The man who answered the phone at E & B told me that there is no way that they are behind the products I bought them. Then the man actually says "We're not a marketer, you're just a store that sells a lot of different things." Unbeleivable! Did you know that Amazon apparently sold (through third parties such as partners of E & B Electronics) electronics gray market, for which the manufacturer will not honor the warranty set? I would not have believed it. When Amazon customer service has a three-way calling (which wisely Amazon store) made and listen in silence to try to resolve the dealer, they ranted about the representative of the Amazon, and told him not to "try to even a word in edgewise, because I can go like this all day "then he hung up abruptly Amazon The representative was so shocked by this display of unprofessional treatment in society that drives thousands of dollars in sales for them as I was. Finally, I recommend everyone buys an infinite product of E & B Electronics as the warranty is not valid, and you will have no appeal if something goes wrong with your expensive purchase. Fischio this is my first set of Infinity speakers and I like the way they sound in the front doors with a range of 6-1/2 infinity 629i in the rear, they sound crystal clear at all volumes, with clear highs, and they have more bass than I would expect. I do not think the tall too hard, as I've read a few of their reviews .... Either way, they came a few days after I ordered it and I installed it, and I enjoy it ever since.
