Base is black and sufficiently weighted to prevent tipping stands. Poles are silver to match the color of my speakers. It is not mentioned in the description, but there are two stands per box. I would have given 5 stars but a stand was a small notch on the corner where the paint scraped off. No big deal, because this will sit in a corner without being seen. Bringing together several different mounts many types of speakers. My speakers can screw directly into the spine, but the screws were too long. I had to use washers to space. Barr, I bought two sets of these stands for use with my Boston Acoustics Home Theater, and they were fantastic. Fit and finish are well done, to pass wires through the stand was easy, and looks good with the rest of my team could get five stars, but feel a little tippy with the heavier front speakers (this is mainly in the way is sitting in the stands. ) All in all a very good product that I highly recommend. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. Good buy! By MJ McDonnell had bought an expensive device that would support my PC speakers, but it was a great set of dirty, ugly and stainless steel clamps speakers tended to diminish, impair. This bookshelf speakers home theater is actually a set of two that fit together easily and worked well. The blends with my decor and is discreet. They were very reasonably priced and arrived quickly.
